Month: April 2018

Advocacy of Cultural Awareness

We’re getting ready to design the Canada Booth for the 2018 Raleigh International Festival and, while digging through some old documents, the booth coordinator found this little gem (well, she is an archaeologist!). Year 2010 was when Canada joined the many cultural groups who participate in the festival to offer the people of North Carolina a little taste of the world.

Would you like to join Team Canada and host the Canada Booth in 2018? Simply send us an email at canadabooth.cnnc (a) gmail.com  and we will let you know when we start scheduling booth volunteers!

Third Thursday Networking

Starting in April, the CNNC will be hosting a casual gathering for social and professional networking on the third Thursday of every month at the Carolina Ale House at Brier Creek.
Join us on April 19 for a pint, a bite or just a chat from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

This is a ‘pay your own tab’ event, but we kindly request that you register in advance to give us an attendance estimate. This will help the Ale House staff give us the best spot for our group. Online registration is open until April 18. Please click on the link to register via our Eventbrite page:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cnnc-third-thursday-networking-registration-44730180173

Walk-ins can check in at the registration table.
