CNNC wishes all Canadians in North Carolina a happy July 1st!
Thank you to all who joined us on Saturday for the Canada Day celebration at the Carolina Ale House in Brier Creek. Here are some photos of the event, including the winners of the kids’ colouring contest, trivia game, and the various door prizes.
A million thanks to Carolina Ale House for hosting us!
Seventy-two Canadians mingled, drank Molson, ate poutine and Canada Day cake, answered trivia questions and sweated profusely at today’s Canada Day Cake and Trivia event! A million thanks to staff at Sammy’s for hosting us on the patio on this hot summer day (38 Celsius) and providing us with Canadian treats and lots of water. We loved the bilingual sign at the door!
Additional thanks to Royal Bank of Canada, Winnipeg Jets, Consulate General of Canada in Atlanta and private individuals for donating freebies used as raffle and trivia prizes. A big thank you to Susana, Ian, Shesha and Caroline for making it all happen.
Enjoy the pics and stay cool!
Sammy’s very Canadian bilingual sign! :)
The required flag…
Big happy family
Happy Canada Day!
Sharing in equal parts!
