Music event at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Charlotte

The Consulate General of Canada in Atlanta is collaborating on a signature partnership event with Canadian conductor Dr. Jonathan Govias, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of UNC Charlotte Orchestras. Dr. Govias is spearheading a performance called “Prayer for Peace” at the Booth Playhouse, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center in Charlotte on November 8 at 7:30pm.
Admission is free.

The performance is characterized as a symphonic remembrance of war, holocaust, and hope, It commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice and the 80th Anniversary of Kristallnacht.
